Corban Gunn Selected for the 2023 Mid-South Super Lawyers List

We have some exciting news to share with you about Corban Gunn, Attorney at Law. He was recently selected for inclusion on the 2023 Mid-South Super Lawyers list. This recognition marks the third consecutive year our law firm’s founding attorney has received such recognition. He received the Super Lawyers Rising Star recognition each year between 2013 and 2018.

Corban Gunn is a fifth-generation Mississippi attorney from a family with deep roots in the Biloxi community. In addition, he’s a two-time graduate of The University of Mississippi. His enrollment in the school required him to spend extensive time far from the familiar surroundings of the gulf coast of Mississippi in University-Oxford in the north central portion of our state.

Corban has additionally been honored to represent clients in municipal, county, all levels of state court, and federal courtrooms, including the following during the 18 years since his admission to the Mississippi bar:

• The U.S. Supreme Court
• The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi
• The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
• The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi

Attorney Gunn’s work representing clients in personal injury matters or criminal law cases in Mississippi has allowed him to work all across our state, including in Hattiesburg, Jackson, Biloxi, and other parts of the northern and southern portions of our state.

Corban’s unwavering commitment to his fellow Biloxi residents and Mississippians, in general, is evident in reviewing his long track record of zealous advocacy on behalf of them when dealing with insurers, in the courtroom, and by lending his time to community organizations such as the Rotary Club and other worthwhile causes along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.

The Rising Star and Super Lawyer recognition is a prestigious honor that begins with a lawyer’s peers, the managing partners at their firm, or another third party nominating them. The Super Lawyers search committee completes a thorough assessment of all nominees, ultimately awarding them up to 12 points overall.

The top nominees with the highest scores, so the top 2.5% of 40 and younger Rising Stars or 5% of Super Lawyers, get selected for recognition.
